LOVE: ME(N) IN CROP TOPS

Ich halte nicht viel davon, wenn jemand sagt etwas sei zu weiblich oder zu männlich - wenn ich etwas mag, mag ich es und es ist mir schlichtweg egal ob ich es in der Männer- oder Frauenabteilung gefunden habe. Die meisten Mädels unter euch haben aber den riesigen Vorteil jeden T-Shirt Schnitt tragen zu können, dabei ist es egal ob es ein Oversized Tee aus dem Schrank eines Freundes oder ein viel zu knappes aus dem der kleinen Schwester ist. Einem Artikel der GQ zufolge, sorgte Rapper Kid Cudi im letzten Jahr mit einem knappen orangefarbenen Crop Top auf der Coachella Bühne viral für reichlich Gesprächsstoff - natürlich bin ich vollkommen durchgedreht (positiv)! Spätestens als ich Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street in einem No10 Crop Top sah, wusste ich 'das brauch ich, vielleicht ist es ein sehr schwieriger Trend, aber wenn Frauen alles überziehen dürfen was sie wollen, ziehen wir ganz einfach mit' (Ich kann im Moment gar nicht aufhören alle Shirts knapp unter dem Bauchnabel abzuschneiden). Crop tops aren't just for the ladies! I'm not a fan of saying something "is too girly" - I know that men traditionally wear blue jeans and white shirts, while women wear belly tops and skirts.. When it comes to trends it's always about how you wear the item and if you're comfortable and bold enough. According to an article written by GQ, the resurgence of the male crop top all began last year when fashion forward rapper Kid Cudi took the Coachella stage in an orange crop top - nah, but just picture a young Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street, in which he appears wearing a No10 tight crop top or Calvin Kleins S/S 2011 Collection (Crop tops were the highlight!). Maybe it's the trickiest of trends, but just like woman are free to wear whatever they want regardless if men approve, dudes are free to do the same and I can't stop wearing cropped tees right now.
